Is the Alpha5 DeLorean Dead? No Updates, No Cars, No Factory

It’s February 2025, and we were supposed to see the DeLorean Alpha5 rollout by now, but has anyone actually seen any updates?

- The last real news I could find was nearly a year ago.
- No factory, no engineers, no production updates, just silence.
- People paid for reservation slots and got an NFT in return, but with no cars in sight, was this just a cash grab?

At this point it’s looking like the Alpha5 won’t be happening. Did DeLorean abandon the project completely or are they just going quiet before making another announcement?

Yeah, it’s been eerily quiet. Without any real production updates, it’s hard to stay optimistic. Feels more like hype than reality, guess we’ll see if anything changes.

It’s not looking great. No factory, no production updates, just fading hype. If DeLorean was serious, we’d have seen real progress by now.
