DeLorean scales back Alpha5 production not what I expected

Which is why DeLorean reduced Alpha5 electric car production to under half what they had planned and they don’t even have 4,000 orders already. I received a newsletter from them encouraging me to place an order but that is definitely not happening. It just seems like a cash grab especially as they’re using an off-the-shelf design by Italdesign instead of actually building a car that’s more like the original DeLorean

The people who support them were left out of the decision. Why not ask the fans? A fan vote would have been done. Given DeLorean's track record, they should have listened and avoided wasting money on something their fans warned them not to do.
